Welcome to the Website of the Embassy of the S.R.Vietnam to the Republic of Finland. Vietnam and Finland enjoyed a fine traditional relations of friendship and multi-faceted cooperation. The two countries officially established diplomatic relations on 25 January 1973. Since then, the bilateral relations have become closer, broadened in scope and deepened in specific fields. The decision of the Vietnamese government to open the Embassy in Helsinki was a vivid manifestation of that fine relations as well as the importance Vietnam has attached to Vietnam –Finland relations.

The Embassy of Vietnam in Helsinki serves as the focal point and the bridge, bringing Vietnam and Finland together. We are also available to facilitate the Vietnamese community in Finland to better integrate into the finish society and at the same increase their linkage to their motherland –Vietnam. We sincerely hope that the Website will bring you useful information about the country and people of Vietnam.
