PM Dung expressed his delight to witness the growing ties between Viet Nam and the UK in all fields.
The UK is the leading European partner in Viet Nam. The two-way trade turnover hit over US$3 billion in 2011.
However, cooperative potential has yet been fully tapped, noted the host leader.
He also proposes both sides boost reciprocal visits at all levels to push up linkages especially in trade, investment, tourism, education and training, national defense and security.
PM Dung took the occasion to thank the UK for its ODA provision for Viet Nam, particularly poverty reduction.
For his part, Foreign Secretary William Hague said the bilateral relations have been developed vigoriously following the upgradation of the strategic partnership on poverty reduction, climate change response and anti-corruption.
The UK encourages and pledges to create favorable conditions for British investors to boost investment in Viet Nam, asserted Mr. William Hague./.
