Deputy PM receives foreign ambassadors
VNGOP – Deputy PM, FM Phạm Gia Khiêm on January 02 had a cordial reception with the newly-appointed Finnish Ambassador Pekka Hyvonen who paid a courtesy visit to him.
Deputy PM Khiêm reconfirmed that the Vietnamese Government and people will do their best to bring the bilateral relationship with Finland to a new height. He highly praised the Finnish Government for fruitfully financing Việt Nam’s national programs on rural development, shipbuilding, water supply and drainage, mother and child health care. The Deputy PM showed his hope to deepen the cooperation with Finland in economy, trade, investment and labor export.
Ambassador Pekka Hyvonen confirmed that he would make greater contributions to the friendship between the two countries.
On the same day, receiving the leaving Brazilian Ambassador Alcides Vastao Rostand Prates, Deputy PM Phạm Gia Khiêm lauded the guest’s effective contributions during his ambassadorship in Việt Nam.
Ambassador Alcides Vastao Rostand Prates pledged to be always a good friend of Việt Nam.
